Position Summary

The Senior Manager – Human Resources will be responsible for leading the complete HR function across the organization, including Corporate Office and Project Sites. The role involves developing HR strategies, strengthening talent acquisition, implementing performance management systems, ensuring statutory compliance, enhancing employee engagement, driving learning & development, and supporting business expansion through effective people management.

The incumbent will partner closely with leadership to build a high-performing workforce aligned with BMI’s vision, values, and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Organizational Development

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with BMI’s business objectives.

· Design and review organizational structures to support growth.

· Drive workforce planning and manpower budgeting.

· Develop HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.

· Lead organizational development and change management initiatives.

· Build succession planning and leadership development programs.

2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

· Lead end-to-end recruitment for Corporate and Project teams.

· Recruit professionals across Engineering, MEP, Projects, Procurement, Design, Sales, Business Growth, Finance, HR, and Support Functions.

· Build relationships with recruitment partners, technical institutes, and industry professionals.

· Strengthen Buildmyinfra’s employer brand through campus hiring, social media, and professional networking.

· Ensure timely closure of key positions while maintaining hiring quality.

3. Performance Management

· Implement and continuously improve KPI/KRA-based performance management systems.

· Coordinate annual and mid-year performance reviews.

· Support departmental heads in setting measurable goals.





· Monitor performance improvement plans and employee development.

· Promote a culture of accountability and performance excellence.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

· Develop employee engagement initiatives across corporate and project locations.

· Organize employee recognition and reward programs.

· Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and engagement assessments.

· Address employee concerns and grievance resolution.

· Strengthen BMI’s culture of ownership, collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning.

5. HR Operations

· Oversee onboarding, induction, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and exit management.

· Ensure complete employee documentation and HR records.

· Maintain HRMS and employee database accuracy.

· Standardize HR documentation and operational processes.

· Coordinate payroll inputs and attendance management with Finance.

6. Learning & Development

· Identify organization-wide training needs.

· Prepare and execute annual training calendars.

· Coordinate technical, leadership, safety, compliance, and behavioral training.

· Track training effectiveness and employee skill development.

· Promote certification programs and continuous professional development.

7. Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations

· Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.

· Monitor compliance related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Labour Welfare, Shops & Establishment, POSH, and other applicable laws.

· Coordinate labour compliance for project sites and subcontractor workforce.

· Support internal and external audits.

· Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.

8. HR Analytics & Reporting

· Develop monthly HR dashboards and management reports.

· Track recruitment, attrition, manpower, absenteeism, training, engagement, and productivity metrics.

· Provide data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

· Recommend process improvements based on HR analytics.

9. Business Partnership

· Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements.

· Support new business verticals with organization planning.

· Participate in strategic business reviews and expansion planning.

· Align HR initiatives with organizational growth objectives.





10. Leadership & Team Development

· Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.

· Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

· Establish best HR practices across the organization.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

· MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

· Additional HR certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

· 10–15 years of progressive HR experience.

· Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.

· Prior experience in Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, MEP, Industrial, Engineering, or Project-based organizations is preferred.
