- Responsible for supervision, coordinating with the traffic consultants to conduct traffic
counts on operational and pipeline projects. The incumbent is responsible for collecting
necessary secondary data with respect to Project corridors and also identifying possible
revenue threats/risks like alternate routes. Updating of Daily and Monthly MIS for Portfolio
assets.
Key Responsibilities
- To coordinate with the consultant to conduct traffic survey at existing/proposed toll plaza locations on periodical basis.
- Strict supervision and ensure the best practices are implemented at site during traffic counts so that Revenue assessments are robust
- To ensure that the consultant shall collect more samples in Origin & Destination (Other Primary surveys) survey to assess any change in travel pattern and traffic characteristics in the Project.
- Interact with NHAI PIUs at site to understand Revenue threats for project
- Laise with toll plazas/client offices at site for information on toll plaza.
- Detailed site appreciation to be done w.r.t assessing revenue risks like evasion of traffic on existing toll plaza, willingness to pay issues and macro and micro level alternate roads to be highlighted if there is any.
- Keep update on daily and Monthly MIS on portfolio to track and monitor the traffic & Revenue performance
