Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in textile design for woven, knitted, and printed fabrics is preferred.

Job Summary

Sai Creations is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to develop innovative fabric designs, prints, patterns, and colorways for apparel collections. The ideal candidate should have experience in garment manufacturing and be able to collaborate closely with merchandising, sampling, sourcing, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop original textile prints, patterns, embroideries, and fabric concepts.
- Create repeat patterns and colorways for seasonal collections.
- Research fashion, textile, and color trends.
- Prepare digital artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers, printers, dyeing units, and production teams.
- Select fabrics, yarns, trims, and embellishments based on buyer requirements.
- Develop swatches, strike-offs, and fabric presentations.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and production feasibility.
- Maintain design libraries and artwork records.
- Support merchandising and buyer meetings with design presentations.




- Stay updated with global textile innovations and sustainable materials.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of textile design, fabric construction, printing, dyeing, and embroidery.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of woven, knitted, and printed fabrics.
- Excellent creativity, color sense, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
