Sri Kailash Women's College invites applications from qualified, enthusiastic, and committed candidates for the position of Assistant Librarian. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing library resources, assisting students and faculty, supporting digital library services, and promoting an effective learning environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day library operations.
- Classify, catalog, and maintain library resources.
- Assist students and faculty in locating books, journals, and digital resources.
- Maintain circulation records and library databases.
- Support e-library and digital resource management.
- Coordinate book procurement, stock verification, and accessioning.
- Organize library orientation programmes and reading initiatives.
- Ensure proper maintenance and discipline within the library.

Qualification





- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc./M.L.I.Sc.) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of library automation software and digital library management is desirable like KOHA (Open Source Integrated Library Management System), DELNET (Digital Library Network), INFLIBNET Services (Shodhganga, N-LIST, e-ShodhSindhu), DSpace (Institutional Repository), e-Granthalaya (NIC), etc.,
- Prior experience in a higher educational institution is preferred.

Skills Required

- Computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of library management systems.
- Teamwork and student-friendly attitude.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
