Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, or related discipline)

Experience

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing.
- Mandatory experience in wet wipes, personal care, cosmetics, hygiene products, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Experience in handling production teams and shop-floor operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for our wipes and cosmetics production facility in Vadodara. The ideal candidate should have robust technical and operational expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving productivity, quality, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Maintain product quality in accordance with company standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Planning teams to ensure smooth production flow.




- Monitor production KPIs including efficiency, downtime, yield, rejection, and cost.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and operators.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to in coordination with the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and statutory regulations.
- Participate in new product introductions, process validation, and production scale-up activities.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of wipes and cosmetics manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of GMP, ISO standards, and quality systems.
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Root Cause Analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Team leadership and people management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
