Job description
We are a fast-growing healthcare services group building a national back-office platform supporting outpatient mental health clinics. Were looking for a Billing Specialist with experience in behavioral health (LPCs, LCSWs, etc.) to support multi-state operations in the US
Role & responsibilities
- Submit and manage mental health claims (Medicaid & commercial)
- Track and follow up on denials, rejections, and unpaid claims
- Manage AR and ensure timely collections
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Work with clinics to resolve billing issues quickly
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in behavioral health billing required
- Robust understanding of Medicaid and commercial payer workflows
- Familiarity with common CPT codes (90791, 90834, 90837, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple accounts
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates should be open to working in night shift
- No cab
