Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX Designer Intern to join our core team for a 3-month paid internship . This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in designing user interfaces and improving user experiences across various digital platforms. You will work closely with our development and design teams to create user-centric products that align with modern design trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation aligns with user interface guidelines.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.
- Work on improving the aesthetics and functionality of existing products based on user feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, design principles, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- A strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new design trends and tools.
- A portfolio of previous design projects (personal or academic) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in user research and usability testing.
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an iterative design process.
