Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned GCP Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data and cloud solutions. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end cloud and data architecture, driving strategic decisions, and enabling scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive enterprise-level data and cloud architecture strategy.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on GCP.
- Design end-to-end cloud architecture including data, application, and integration layers.
- Build and optimize data lakes, warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.
- Lead solutioning using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub,



and Cloud Storage.
- Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards (especially in Healthcare domain).
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture guidance to teams.
- Ensure performance optimization, cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Required Skills & Experience

- 12–15 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture / Cloud Architecture.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
- Proven experience in defining and implementing cloud architecture strategies.
- Deep knowledge of BigQuery and modern data warehousing architecture.
- Strong experience in designing large-scale ETL/ELT and real-time data pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (Healthcare preferred).
- Experience in client-facing roles, solutioning, and stakeholder management.

Good to Have

- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect).
- Experience in Healthcare domain (HIPAA or similar compliance exposure).
- Experience in BFSI or enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven data platforms.
