About the Role
Valuable process control starts in the lab. We're looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician to test, track, and analyze samples at our waste management plant — making sure every output meets the standards it should.
What You'll Do
- Collect and test samples (input, in-process, and output) as per plant testing protocols
- Conduct routine physical, chemical, and biological analysis (as applicable to the process)
- Record and maintain accurate test results, logs, and quality reports
- Flag deviations or out-of-spec results to the Plant/Process In-Charge promptly
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of samples and chemicals
- Maintain lab safety standards and cleanliness
- Support statutory/compliance reporting related to quality and environmental parameters
- Coordinate with plant operations team for smooth sample flow and reporting
What We're Looking For
- B.Sc./Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field
- 1-2 years of lab experience, preferably in waste management, biogas, effluent treatment, or process industries
- Familiarity with basic lab equipment and testing procedures
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Understanding of environmental/safety compliance standards
