The Branch Manager has a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing the business and client base of consumer gold loans. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives, which may include the management of activities by external organizations and the direct management of individuals.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

- Responsible for overall branch operations, performance, and profitability of the branch.
- Drive and participate in field marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
- Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch and field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
- Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and the retention of old customers.
- Conduct error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
- Joint custodian of the vault with responsibility for the safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
- Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups with customers for interest collections.




- Positive planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
- Hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
- Maintaining quality and performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same, and taking necessary actions for the growth of business in the branch.
- Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products, i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale, etc.
- Responsible for correct valuation and maintenance of 100% process compliance at the branch.
- Manage error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Required Qualifications and ExperienceEducation & Skill Qualifications:

- 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
- Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management, or client service preferred.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
