Minimum Qualification

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Shop Maintenance (MC Shop):
Maintain and ensure smooth operation of machine shop equipment including VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe), Lathe Machines, Floor Boring Machines (FHB), and Deep Hole Drilling (DHD) machines.

- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, TPM activities, and attend breakdowns with quick resolution to minimize downtime.

- Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems:
Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic circuits used in machine shop equipment.

- Machine Alignment & Accuracy:
Perform machine alignment, leveling, calibration, and ensure dimensional accuracy of machines as per production requirements.

- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis:
Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes,



and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

- Lubrication Management:
Ensure proper lubrication practices, monitor lubrication systems, and implement best lubrication strategies for machine life improvement.

- Spare Management & Inventory:
Prepare and maintain critical spare parts list, monitor inventory levels, and ensure availability of required spares.

- Equipment Overhauling:
Carry out periodic overhauling of machines, assemblies, gearboxes, and mechanical systems.

- Safety Practices:
Follow and implement safety standards, LOTO procedures, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, EMS, and OHSAS requirements.

- Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, equipment history cards, breakdown reports, and audit documentation.
