Minimum Qualification
- Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDIS)
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
In addition to any diploma in engineering, candidate should have qualified- Post Diploma in Industrial Safety or Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Technical Board or DGFASLI/ Central Labour Institute.
- He should have at least 2 years of experience of working in steel industry and conversant with legal compliances of MAH (Major Accident Hazard) units.
- Should be conversant with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Knowledge of Latest acts, laws and rules of EHS.
- Should have general knowledge of monthly/ half yearly/ yearly compliances associated with MAH units.
- He should have knowledge of workplace function requirement and liaisoning experience with State and Central Pollution Control Board.
- Knowledge of EHS aspect Factory Act 1948 and Gujarat Factory Rule- 1963 with experience of liaisoning with Factory Inspectorate and DISH.
- Should have good soft skills like interpersonal relationships building, public speaking, presentation skills.
- Experience of giving training to shop floor personnel.
- Should have advanced knowledge of MS Office - Especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Preferably Male to cater three shifts.
