Job Summary

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in the Ward and ICU. The role includes patient assessment, emergency management, clinical procedures, consultant coordination, documentation, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, examine, and manage patients admitted to the Ward and ICU.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly escalate any clinical deterioration to the consultant or intensivist.
- Conduct ward rounds and manage emergency cases.
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV cannulation, urinary catheterization, ECG, IV medication administration, and other bedside procedures.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic reports and communicate critical findings.
- Coordinate with OT, laboratory, blood bank, radiology, and nursing teams for effective patient care.
- Prepare medication charts and discharge summaries and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Attend Code Blue, emergency calls, and ambulance cases.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, infection control,



and patient safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Qualification

- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) registration is mandatory.

Experience

- 0–5 years of experience.
- Experience in Ward and/or ICU is preferred.
- Freshers with a valid KMC registration are also encouraged to apply.
