Position: Business Development Associate
Industry: Building Materials / Tiles / Sanitaryware / Interior Products

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and approach recent customers, contractors, builders, architects, and interior designers.
- Generate sales leads through field visits, referrals, and networking.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Promote the showroom's products and explain features, pricing, and offers.
- Coordinate with the showroom sales team to ensure smooth order processing.
- Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into sales.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify competitors and new business opportunities.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM or Excel.
- Collect customer feedback and help improve service quality.
- Attend exhibitions, trade events, and client meetings to increase brand visibility.

Required Skills:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Sales and business development experience.




- Knowledge of building materials (tiles, sanitaryware, etc.) is preferred.
- Customer relationship management.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, CRM software).
- Ability to travel for client meetings and field visits.
- Problem-solving and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of sales/business development experience (freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered).
- Valid driving license is an advantage for field sales roles.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Number of new customers acquired.
- Monthly sales revenue.
- Lead-to-sale conversion rate.
- Customer retention rate.
- Number of client visits and follow-ups.
- Achievement of sales targets.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
