Job Title: Tekla Detailer & Trainer

Location: Trichy, Tamil Nadu
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience and skill level)
Experience Required: 6 months to 2 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Tekla Detailer with experience in structural steel detailing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate shop and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare structural steel shop drawings and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures
- Develop GA drawings, assembly drawings, and single-part drawings
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
- Review and revise drawings based on design updates and site requirements
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 6 months to 5 years of experience in structural steel detailing
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures
- Basic understanding of structural steel connections and fabrication practices
- Knowledge of shop drawings and erection drawings
- Train candidates in structural steel detailing, modeling, and drawing creation.
- Explain engineering drawings, fabrication drawings,



GA drawings, and shop drawings.
- Develop training materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor trainees during live project execution.
- Ensure trainees follow industry standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with project teams to align training with current industry requirements.
- Resolve trainee queries and provide technical support.
- Maintain attendance, progress reports, and training documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest Tekla features and steel detailing practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of AutoCAD (Optional)
- Experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and meet deadlines
- Previous training or teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of international steel detailing standards.
- Experience working on industrial, commercial, or infrastructure steel projects.

Educational Qualification:
ITI / Diploma / B.E. (Civil / Mechanical or related field)
