Key Responsibilities

- High-Speed Line Reliability: Maintain and optimize high-speed automated lines (e.g., bodymakers, cupping presses, necking/flanging machines, and end-seaming equipment) to minimize costly micro-stops and jams.
- Welding & Coating Maintenance: Oversee specialized equipment including wire resistance welders (for three-piece cans) or thermal/induction curing ovens and spray coating/lacquering systems (for two-piece and aerosol containers).
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PPM): Manage computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to execute predictive checks (vibration analysis, thermography) on high-speed rotating shafts, drives, and pneumatics.
- Quality & Leak Testing Integration: Support maintenance of on-line pinhole detectors, light testers, and pressure testing equipment to ensure zero-defect outgoing metal packaging.
- Tooling and Die Upkeep: Coordinate with toolroom technicians on the maintenance, sharpening, and alignment of precision cutting, drawing, and forming dies.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, press safety standards,



and environmental compliance regarding solvent emissions from coating ovens.
- Budget & Spares Management: Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, and critical spare parts inventory (e.g., specialized welding wheels, seaming chucks, roll sets).

Required Qualifications & Skill

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical certification).
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within metal packaging, canning, high-speed stamping, or related high-volume sheet metal processing.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyors, Belt, Chain, Gear Drives, servo drives, and precision mechanical assembly.
- Industry Standards: Familiarity with food safety standards

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
