We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T;) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical system and power electronics design activities both from Hardware and Software aspects.
- Define architecture, system and component-level requirements.
- Perform analysis (FMECA, simulations, modeling, etc.) on new architectures/products.
- Ensure design and development meets certification standards & requirements.
- Responsible for Conceptual Design to Testing and validation of EPS components along with UAV systems as per requirement.
- Testing and evaluation of Commercially Off the shelf components.
- Prepare associated documentation for company records and design reviews.
Must have skills:
- Robust hold on Solar, MPPT converter design, power supply design, power converters, analog & digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design, etc.
- Experienced in multiple product development stages - Conceptual Design, EPS system Modelling, circuit design, simulations & analysis, manufacturing and validation.
- Experienced in modeling & simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB / Simulink, PSIM and Python.
- Experience with PCB Design tools such as Eagle/OrCad/Altium.
- Familiar with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.
Good to have skills:
- Experienced in component level & system level certification and standards.
- Experienced in Aerospace/Automotive domains.
