Job Summary

Solto Innovations and Aviation Private Limited is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to generate new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive B2B sales in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in lead generation, client acquisition, customer visits, and closing sales within engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation, aerospace, or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new B2B leads through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
- Identify potential customers in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Schedule and conduct client visits to understand customer requirements and present company capabilities.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, and Quality teams to ensure timely customer support.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and customer meetings.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.

Requirements





- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 –5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Technical Sales, or Manufacturing Sales.
- Strong experience in lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM software is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
