- Key Focus: Day-to-day accounting, site/vendor reconciliations, and balance sheet finalization/accumulation under Indian accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping & Accounting Operations
- Record daily financial transactions including vendor bills, contractor payments, receipts, and journal entries in accounting software (Tally Prime/ERP).
- Maintain general ledger accounts, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and site petty cash books regularly.
- Balance Sheet Accumulation & Finalization
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and finalization of accounts (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss).
- Accumulate schedules, compile asset/liability data, and prepare trial balances for annual balance sheet finalization.
- Coordinate with project sites to gather pending expense provisions, accruals, and stock inventory registers
- Track and accumulate ledger balances, fixed assets,



depreciation schedules, and project-wise work-in-progress (WIP).
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve variance discrepancies.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance (India)
- Manage GST computations, input tax credit (ITC) matching, and filing of GSTR returns.
- Process TDS deductions on contractor payments and professional fees, ensuring timely deposit and return filings.
- Oversee PF/ESI statutory compliance where applicable.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Com from a recognized university.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within the construction or real estate sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong command of Tally Prime / ERP, advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and general ledger scrutiny.
- Core Competencies: Transparent understanding of Indian accounting principles, balance sheet structures, and basic site-cost accounting concepts
