Job Title: Chip-Level Laptop Repair EngineerJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chip-Level Laptop Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair laptop motherboards at the component level. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in chip-level troubleshooting, soldering, BIOS programming, and repairing laptops from leading brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, and Asus.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair laptop motherboards at the chip/component level.
- Troubleshoot issues such as no power, no display, charging failures, boot issues, and short circuits.
- Perform SMD/BGA soldering, de-soldering, and component replacement.
- Repair and replace ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, inductors, BIOS ICs, and connectors.
- Flash and update BIOS/UEFI firmware.
- Read motherboard schematics and board-view files.
- Use diagnostic tools including Digital Multimeter (DMM), Oscilloscope, DC Power Supply, Soldering Station, Hot Air Rework Station, and BGA Rework Machine.
- Perform quality testing after repairs and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
- Follow ESD and safety standards during repair activities.

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in chip-level laptop motherboard repair.

Preferred Skills

- Experience repairing Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, and other leading laptop brands.
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet repair turnaround time (TAT).
