Job Summary

SPID Society is seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Welfare Officer to ensure the care, protection, rehabilitation, and overall development of children residing in the Child Care Institution. The candidate will be responsible for case management, child protection services, coordination with statutory authorities, preparation of individual care plans, documentation, rehabilitation, and ensuring compliance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct intake assessment of every newly admitted child.
- Prepare Individual Care Plans (ICPs).
- Conduct regular case reviews.
- Prepare Social Investigation Reports wherever required.
- Maintain individual case files and confidential records.
- Coordinate with CWC, DCPU, police, schools, hospitals, and other agencies.
- Facilitate family tracing, restoration, sponsorship, foster care,



aftercare, and rehabilitation.
- Conduct and facilitate meetings in concern with MCM and CCM as per JJ Act.
- Organize Child Care Plan review meetings.
- Ensure children's participation in decision-making.
- Monitor education, vocational training, health, and psychosocial development.
- Prepare reports for statutory authorities.
- Follow up with restored children as required.
- Coordinate legal aid and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with rehabilitation orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, or a related field.
- Knowledge of child protection systems and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and email drafting.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Experience in NGO/social sector work will be an advantage.

Experience

- 2 years of experience in child protection, child welfare, case management, or working with Child Care Institutions (CCIs) preferred.

Salary

- Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
