- Safe and legal operation: Drive vehicles safely and defensively, following all traffic laws and regulations at all times.
- Route management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using navigation systems and adapting to traffic conditions.
- Vehicle maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, perform basic maintenance (like checking fluids and tire pressure), and keep the vehicle clean and fueled.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
- Customer service: Interact professionally with clients, provide assistance, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Communication: Report issues, update dispatchers on delivery status, and inform management of accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage.
- Time management: Arrive at destinations on schedule and manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks.
