Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fitter with 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and production systems to ensure smooth plant operations and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Inspect mechanical components for wear and defects and perform necessary repairs.
- Align, adjust, and calibrate machine parts to ensure proper functioning.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment status.
- Follow safety standards, SOPs, and company policies.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure minimum machine downtime.




- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- ITI (Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, assembly, and machine fitting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in CNC, machining, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing plants.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
