Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Location: Mumbai (Goregaon, Chembur)

Position Overview: Installation of Biomedical Equipment, smooth functioning of biomedical equipment, response to service call logs, Calibration and inspection of the Biomedical equipment, Prepare and maintain permanent record for biomedical equipment, Monitor the inventory of biomedical equipment,.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design & Development: Create and test new medical devices, equipment, and technologies to improve healthcare practices.
- Maintenance & Calibration: Ensure medical devices and equipment are functional, safe, and comply with relevant standards by performing regular maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (such as FDA and ISO), and conduct rigorous testing to meet these requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses,



and other healthcare professionals to understand user needs and provide technical support for medical equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to medical devices, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training to medical staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Qualifications:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of medical device design, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with software programming or hardware systems is a plus.

Skills:

- Technical proficiency in medical device design and repair.
- Knowledge of biomedical instrumentation and regulatory standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or medical device industry.
- Experience working with hospital IT teams and clinical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
