System Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and user systems. Ensures system availability, security, and smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and laptops
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
- Handle network configuration including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
- Ensure data security, antivirus management, and firewall configuration
- Maintain email systems and related services
- Support employees with IT-related issues (remote and onsite)
- Manage IT assets, inventory, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)
- Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures
- Ensure proper backup and disaster recovery processes
- Maintain logs of system activities and incidents

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with server management and virtualization
- Familiarity with firewall and security systems
- Knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and user support skills

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

- 0-2 years of experience in system administration or IT support (Freshers can apply)

Other Requirements

- Ability to handle multiple systems and users efficiently
- Willingness to provide support beyond working hours if required
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills
