Summary
UST is looking for an experienced QA ETL Tester with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Data Warehousing, SQL, and Data Quality Validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data across source and target systems while supporting business intelligence and reporting solutions.
The Opportunity
As a QA ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise data platforms by validating ETL processes, verifying business rules, and maintaining data integrity across the data warehouse ecosystem.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Review business and functional requirements to create test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
- Perform ETL testing, data reconciliation, transformation validation, and business rule verification.
- Execute functional, regression, and data validation testing.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity between source and target systems.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through closure using defect management tools.
- Perform data and process validation to ensure high-quality data delivery.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing processes, quality controls, and SLAs.
- Prepare and share test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, data engineers, and operations teams in Agile environments.
What You Need
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Strong experience in SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or sprint-based delivery environments.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Experience in reporting QA and data quality validation.
- Domain experience in Healthcare is preferred.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent).
