- Welcome and guide patients after a doctor consultation, ensuring they clearly understand the diagnosis and treatment options.
- Explain the details of surgeries, lens types, and available packages with empathy and accuracy.
- Coordinate between patients, doctors, and support departments to ensure smooth pre- and post-operative processes.
- Counsel patients for elective procedures (like cataract, LASIK, retina, glaucoma, etc.) and encourage timely decision-making.
- Follow up with patients who have postponed or deferred surgery to achieve conversion targets.
- Maintain and update counselling registers, surgery conversion sheets, and daily MIS reports.
- Ensure proper financial counselling, explaining cost components and payment options.




- Support marketing and patient relationship activities for increasing patient walk-ins and conversions.
- Assist in organizing patient awareness camps and outreach programs when required.
- Uphold the hospital’s brand standards by maintaining confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction.

Requirements:-

- Qualification: Diploma in Ophthalmic Counselling – DOC.
- Experience: Minimum of 01 to 4 years of experience in patient counselling, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
- Preferred: Experience in an eye hospital/ophthalmology counselling is mandatory.
