Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Formulation Chemist to join our R&D; team in Bavla. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing skincare, cosmetics, and oral care formulations. This role requires a strong background in cosmetic science, chemistry, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

✔Develop, test, and optimize formulations for skincare, cosmetics, and oral care products.
✔Research and identify new ingredients, active compounds, and innovative formulations.
✔Conduct stability testing, compatibility studies, and performance evaluations.
✔Ensure formulations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements.
✔Collaborate with production, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to scale up formulations for mass manufacturing.
✔Maintain thorough documentation of formulations, test results, and regulatory compliance data.
✔Troubleshoot formulation issues and make necessary modifications to improve product efficacy and stability.
✔Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the cosmetics and personal care industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔Education: M.Sc.



/ B.Tech / M.Tech in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
✔Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in formulation development of skincare, cosmetics, or oral care products.

Technical Skills:

✔Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, emulsions, surfactants, and preservatives.
✔Experience in formulation stability studies and troubleshooting formulation challenges.
✔Familiarity with cosmetic regulations (FDA, BIS, EU, etc.) and GMP guidelines.
✔Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.

Soft Skills:

✔Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔Strong attention to detail and documentation.
✔Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
