Job Summary

We are looking for a energetic and enthusiastic Admission Counselor to join our team at Bachpan School(s).

As the first point of contact for prospective parents, the Admission Counselor serves as the face of the school and plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively guide parents through the admission process while acting as a bridge between parents, teachers, and the school management.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, have strong counseling abilities, and possess the skills to convert admission enquiries into successful enrollments. Prior experience in a school environment, particularly in admissions or counseling, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete admission process and counsel prospective parents to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain and update all admission records and important documentation as per school, regional office, and government requirements.
- Coordinate with teachers to support the planning and execution of academic activities.




- Build strong relationships with parents by understanding their concerns and ensuring timely communication with teachers and school management.
- Track admission enquiries, analyze conversion trends, and implement strategies to improve student enrollment.
- Organize and conduct parent orientation programs to familiarize families with the school's vision, policies, and academic practices.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the school's curriculum, academic programs, Montessori methodology, teaching aids, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure proper record keeping and organization of school-related data and reports.
- Take up additional responsibilities such as Academic Coordinator or other administrative duties whenever required.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Previous experience in a school as an Admission Counselor, Front Office Executive, Academic Coordinator, or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of academics, Montessori methodology, and teaching-learning materials will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and relationship-building abilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to handle responsibilities independently.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and cross-functional teams.
