Job Title: Pit side/Ingot casting

Key Responsibilities:

Heading 1:

1. Operate and Managing the ingot casting process

2. Ensure Proper solidification of cast ingot as per casting guidelines in Trial /Quality plan.

3. Co-ordinate with PPC and forging deptt.for placing the solidified ingot to annealing /forging.

4. Maintain the ingot Molds, refractory & casting powder stocks.

5. Ensure the good quality of ingot by monitoring casting parameters

6. Detect and address defect such as blow holes cracks and inclusions etc.

7. Maintaining segregation control during solidification process.

8. Basic knowledge of SAP and computer for daily data work

9. To ensure positive housekeeping and follow all safety protocol.

10. Communication with SMS & CCM S/I.
