Role Description This is a full-time Chief Operations Officer role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Chief Operations Officer will oversee day-to-day operations across GBG EV’s fleet, hubs, and support functions, ensuring effective processes and high service quality for investors, riders, and delivery partners. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies,



optimizing fleet utilization, strengthening hub performance, and driving continuous improvement in safety, compliance, and customer experience. The role will collaborate closely with finance, technology, and business development teams to align operations with growth objectives, manage budgets and KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making. The Chief Operations Officer will also build and mentor high-performing teams, establish scalable systems and SOPs, and contribute to long-term business planning and expansion initiatives.
Qualifications

- Strong Business Planning and strategic Operations Management skills, with experience scaling multi-location or fleet-based businesses.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret operational and financial data, define KPIs, and drive performance improvements.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Budgeting, including cost optimization, forecasting, and managing P&L; for operational functions.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities, with experience building and coaching cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in logistics, mobility, fleet management, EV, or technology-driven operations is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work setting.
