We are looking for a Sr Business AnalystnnThe role will suit a technical minded individual who loves to solve problems and has great communication skills. You will have to speak to customer IT teams and business users, alongside our internal Dev and product teams. Our analysts must also be keen to understand the wider business flows and systems at the customer site to provide a first-class support experience. nHow you ll play your part nInterfacing with clients to gather solution requirements (typically working on multiple assignments in parallel). nUnderstanding the current and proposed business process that the solution is intended to solve for. nUnderstanding the wider business flows and systems at the customer site that provide the context into which a current solution will be introduced. nAnalysing/understanding client data (because the data often conveys context u0026 requirements that can otherwise be missed). nDistilling the understanding of client context/requirements into short documents and diagrams to communicate those internally and back to the client. nUnderstanding where new solutions overlap with and can re-use elements from existing solutions. nWorking with the technical architect u0026 product development team to help them understand business requirements and input to the solution detailed design. nPresent back to the customer both their requirements and the features of the recent solution to solve them. nPerforming a degree of QA for new product feature releases in preparation for delivering to the clients and/or providing inputs/reviews to a dedicated test team on larger projects. nContribute to departmental and company-wide process improvement. nProvide input to marketing campaigns and material. nSupport sales in customer discussions,



respond to RFPs and create proposals. nnThe experience you ll bring nBE / BSc (or higher) or equivalent work experience. nProven industry experience as a Business Analyst for 9-17 years in building capital markets solutions that process financial instruments. nProven industry experiences following Agile Software Development practices. nProven industry experience of working with business stakeholders and external clients. nA good understanding of practices related to financial applications. nKnowledge of the typical flows and functionality associated with handling business flows in one or more asset types; equities, fixed income, FX, listed future and option, OTC derivatives. nThe ability to translate business concepts into system requirements. nThe ability to constructively participate and critique in technical and functional discussions with talented technical architects and lead developers. nUnderstand the technical make up of Genesis products in such a way they can be explained to non-technical users. nAbility to perform gap analysis. nnWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
