Job DescriptionAbout the Role NTexas Instruments is looking for a Senior ESD Design Specialist to join our Advanced Technology Development team in Bangalore, India — one of the most respected semiconductor R&D; organizations in the world. NYou'll be embedded withinTI's elite ESD Team, working hands-on with an industry-leading analog portfolio spanning precision analog, power management, imaging, audio, high-speed converters, and interface applications. This isn't a siloed role — you'll collaborate across Process Engineering, Packaging, Testing, Reliability, and Manufacturing, making a measurable impact at every stage. NKey Responsibilitiesn N Design, develop, and implement ESD protection structures for a diverse analog product portfolio N Lead and conduct ESD design reviews; troubleshoot failures during internal and customer qualification cycles N Drive the design and development of ESD test structures for advanced technology assessments N Maintain and evolve ESDprotection libraries and design guideline documentation used by TI engineers and I/O cell developers globally N Continuously improve ESD protection effectiveness and area efficiency — raising the bar on what's possible NnRequired Skills Nn Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (3+ years ESD experience) or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (5+ years ESD experience) N Deep expertise in analog and digital circuit operation N Strong command of high-current device physics — diodes, resistors, BJTs, SCRs,
FETs N Hands-on knowledge of CMOS and analog silicon process flows N Experience in high-voltage ESD design (> 20V)n Proven lab experience and solid analytical/problem-solving ability N Self-directed, organized, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects N Excellent verbal and written communication skills NnPreferred Qualifications Nn Experience with BiCMOS or high-voltage analog process technologies N Exposure to ESD qualification standards (HBM, CDM, MM, IEC 61000-4-2) N Background in ESD characterization and TLP (Transmission Line Pulsing) N Published research or patents in ESD or semiconductor protection design N Prior experience in a cross-functional semiconductor R&D; environment NnWhy Join Texas Instruments?
