Job DescriptionI'm looking for a driven and talented Junior Interior Designer to join CozyNest Interiors in Whitefield, Bengaluru. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, contribute to diverse projects, and grow within a fast-paced setting. You'll work directly with me, supporting projects from concept to completion. NDESIGN LIFECYCLE AND CORERESPONSIBILITIES NA. Requirements & Conceptualization Support: Nn Assist in gathering precise project requirements. N Support ideation and preliminary concept development. N Obtain client approvalsto advance the design stages. NnB. Design Development & Documentation: Nn Develop mood boards, space plans, and material palettes under guidance. N Research and select items/materials, considering dimensions, durability, and cost. N Create 2D space plans and detailed 3D models using SketchUp and AutoCAD. N Render photorealistic images of finalized designs using V-Ray, D5 Render etc. N Prepare electrical, false ceiling, and furniture layouts. N Maintain accurate meeting minutes and concept notes for all projects. NnC. Project Execution & Site Coordination: Nn Coordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients. N Prepare clear instructions for on-site teams. N Conduct mandatory site visits to monitor progress and address challenges. N Provide timely and clear updates to the Principal Designer. NnD. Material Knowledge & Sourcing: Nn Stay updated on new materials and industry trends. N Source and organize samples of new materials for project consideration. NnE. Administrative & Project Management Support:



Nn Communicate project timelines to clients, vendors, and contractors. N Follow up to ensure adherence to project schedules. N Document design change requests; communicate changes to site and contractors. N Prepare detailed Minutes of Meeting (MOMs). N Assist in obtaining client sign-offs for projects and revisions. N Maintain project files and design libraries NnESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NA. Educational Background: Nn Bachelor's diploma/degree in Interior Design, or an equivalent field. NnB. Technical Expertise: Nn Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and rendering software is a must. N Working knowledge of MSExcel, Powerpoint etc. NnC. Material Acumen: Nn Demonstrated understanding of material availability, characteristics, and finishes. NnD. Soft Skills (Crucial for My Team): Nn Communication: Strong verbal and written communication in English and Hindi is mandatory. Kannada and Telugu are highly desirable. N Professionalism: Punctual, polite, and maintains a pleasant attitude. N Proactive & Problem-Solver: Self-driven, takes initiative, and possesses proven problem-solving N abilities.n Adaptability: Learns quickly and thrives in a dynamic freelance environment.
