We are seeking a diligent Quality Inspector – Coating to ensure the highest standards of quality for our coated aluminum profiles. This role involves both in-process monitoring at vendor premises and incoming quality control at our F1 location, alongside crucial documentation and vendor collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
In-Process Quality Monitoring (Vendor Premises)
- Visit coating vendors according to a defined schedule.
- Monitor coating processes during execution.
- Verify approved shade, surface finish, coating thickness, and process parameters.
- Ensure vendor adherence to approved specifications.
- Report deviations immediately to the Senior Executive – Quality and the Coating Executive.
Incoming Quality Control (F1 Location)
- Inspect coated aluminum profiles received from vendors.
- Perform shade matching, adhesion, gloss, and surface finish checks.
- Ensure material matches job orders and approved standards.
- Segregate non-conforming material and coordinate for rework or replacement.
Quality Documentation & Traceability
- Maintain batch-wise and project-wise inspection reports.
- Ensure traceability of coated profiles.
- Prepare vendor quality performance reports.
Vendor Coordination & Development
- Share quality feedback with vendors regularly.
- Support corrective and preventive actions for recurring defects.
- Collaborate with the Coating Executive to improve vendor quality systems.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and customer specifications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to reduce rejection rates.
- Support initiatives to enhance coating quality and turnaround time.
Requirements
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production OR B.Sc. with relevant technical exposure.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in coating inspection, aluminum profiles, or surface finishing quality.
