We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) rooftop solar projects (≥500 kW).

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

- Lead the end-to-end execution of C&I; rooftop solar projects.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to contractual scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various locations.

Techno-Commercial Acumen
- Interpret Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and technical specifications.
- Align project execution with contract terms, including scope, exclusions, penalties, and Liquidated Damages (LD) clauses.
- Support billing milestones and revenue realization processes.

Site Execution & Contractor Management
- Oversee site teams, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) vendors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure the correct installation of:
- Solar modules (string/central inverter systems)
- Mounting structures (RCC / Metal roofs)
- High Tension (HT) / Low Tension (LT) electrical systems

- Drive site productivity and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Regulatory Coordination
- Manage approvals for:
- Net metering / Open access (where applicable)
- Chief Electrical Inspector to Government (CEIG) approvals
- Grid synchronization

- Coordinate effectively with Distribution System Operator (DISCOM) authorities and consultants.

Cost Control & Billing
- Monitor project costs against budget, aiming for a variance of less than 3–5%.
- Track procurement, logistics, and material utilization.
- Ensure timely invoicing aligned with project milestones.

Quality & Safety Management
- Implement robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes for MW-scale rooftop projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, including electrical safety and working at height.
- Conduct regular audits and site inspections.

Risk & Escalation Management
- Identify potential execution risks,



including structural, regulatory, and supply chain challenges.
- Develop and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for corporate clients (factories, warehouses, MNCs).
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to foster repeat business.

Commissioning & Handover
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Coordinate net meter installation and grid connectivity.
- Complete all necessary documentation for project closure and Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills
- Strong experience in C&I; rooftop solar projects (≥500 kW).
- Proficiency in:
- HT/LT systems and interconnection.
- Solar plant performance metrics.
- Understanding structural challenges specific to industrial rooftops.

- Familiarity with CEIG, DISCOM, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Behavioral Skills
- Proven leadership capabilities in managing multi-site teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with corporate clients.
- Ability to make sound decisions under project pressure.
- Robust negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical.
- Project Management certification is preferred.
- 7–12 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 4–5 years specifically in C&I; rooftop solar projects (≥500 kW).
- Experience managing MW-scale portfolios is preferred.
