About the Role
The Linux Device Driver position is crucial for our ongoing projects, requiring a skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in developing and maintaining device drivers for Linux systems. The role involves working closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand device specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot driver issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize driver performance and ensure compatibility with various Linux distributions.
- Document driver development processes and maintain code quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,
or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Linux device driver development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C programming language.
- Robust understanding of Linux kernel architecture.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
Preferred Skills
- Linux kernel driver development experience.
- Knowledge of Framebuffer and/or DRM/KMS architecture.
- Hands-on experience with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video).
Pay range and compensation package
The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
