As the senior technical leader and software architect for the FFT (Freudenberg Filtration Technologies) digital platform on Azure, your main responsibilities include:- Designing, developing, and delivering all core business applications on Azure, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.- Leading the technical vision and architecture for software solutions, collaborating with digital product owners and stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.- Driving the full software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in software engineering and code quality.- Identifying opportunities for innovation in data-driven applications, AI, and advanced analytics to maximize business value.- Providing 3rd level support, ensuring UpToDate documentation, and handling complex incident resolution and technical escalations.- Owning the software architecture and technical roadmap for the FFT digital platform, ensuring modern, maintainable, and extensible solutions.- Overseeing the design, implementation, and support of applications with a focus on software engineering.Qualifications required for this role:- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or related field.- Several years of experience in IT architecture design with Azure DevOps, Services, and digital product development.- Strong background in modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and security.- Advanced knowledge of data management, IoT, data-driven application development, AI, and machine learning integration.- Experience in IoT scenarios including sensors and gateways.- Experience leading external development partners and managing outsourced software projects.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and structured working style.- Fluency in English, additional language skills appreciated.
