As an Associate Data Scientist at our company, you will be a vital part of our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to work on various AI/ML applications.Key Responsibilities:- Work on data preprocessing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)- Build and evaluate machine learning models including regression, classification, and clustering- Implement algorithms such as Linear & Logistic Regression, KNN, Decision Trees, Random Forest, and basic boosting techniques like XGBoost- Perform feature engineering and model optimization- Develop small-scale AI/ML applications or dashboards using tools like Streamlit apps- Work on real-world datasets to derive actionable insights- Assist in building GenAI-based applications including prompt engineering, basic RAG pipelines, and LLM API integrations- Collaborate with team members to deploy and test models- Document experiments, results, and learnings clearlyRequired Qualifications:- Bachelors degree (or final year) in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Electronics, or a related field- Solid understanding of ML basics such as supervised vs unsupervised learning, regression vs classification- Hands-on experience with Python libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn, and Scikit-learn- Basic knowledge of data cleaning and EDA techniques, as well as model evaluation metrics including Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1, and RMSE.
