Primary Job Responsibilities **Responsible for Procurement for Capex & Opex for Manufacturing plants (India, Vietnam, Indonesia & China), Corporate Services comprising of Supplies and services, Projects, R & D, Engineering, IT & Admin** **Responsible for the purchasing and supply management activities for all categories and sub categories. Drive "One Abbott Procurement" vision across divisions globally and influences synergies among divisions. Work closely with key stakeholders in both Corporate and Division organizations to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Nurture stakeholder relationships by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations** **Core Job Responsibilities** **Responsible for handling the spend base for Capex and Opex procurement with items ranging from Engineering, R & D, Admin, IT, Distribution pertaining to machinery and spares, repairs, Annual Maintenance Contracts, Annual Rate contracts.** **Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Abbott's manufacturing and investment roadmap.** **Lead sourcing initiatives for capital equipment, automation systems, engineering services, construction projects, Facilities, MRO and Investment Recoveries** **Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, GFO and Project Management teams to ensure procurement supports project timelines and technical specifications.** **Drive supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution for projects.** **Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, innovation, and risk mitigation.** **Support capital planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting,
