We are looking for a Principal Architect to take hands-on ownership of the most technically complex parts of the platform:
How data flows in, how AI makes decisions, and how the platform talks to enterprise tools.
This is not a strategy or advisory role. You will be doing the actual design and technical decision-making, writing specifications that engineering teams build against, and setting the technical bar for how things get built. You will work independently with a high degree of trust, and the broader team will look to you as the technical authority in your areas.
Experience: 10+ Years
Work Mode: Hybrid
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 3 years working as a senior or principal-level architect or engineer
- A track record of designing and shipping systems that run at enterprise scale in production — not just prototypes or internal tools
- Experience building platforms or frameworks that other engineers build on top of, not just application-level features
- Comfortable working across multiple programming languages — ideally Java, Python, or Node.js
- Data & Real-Time Systems
- Experience building pipelines that process large volumes of real-time data reliably
- Familiarity with message streaming platforms such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs
- Understanding of how to handle failures, retries, and recovery in data pipelines without losing data
- AI & Intelligent Systems
- Hands-on experience integrating AI or large language models into real production systems — not just experimentation
- Understanding of how to build AI workflows that chain multiple steps together and use external tools
- Awareness of the trade-offs between running AI models yourself versus using a managed AI service
- Experience building systems that retrieve relevant context to make AI outputs more accurate
- Integrations & APIs
- Experience designing frameworks or platforms that connect to many different third-party tools in a consistent way
- Robust understanding of how enterprise authentication and security works when connecting to external systems
- Ability to design integrations that are reliable, recoverable, and easy to monitor
- Familiarity with enterprise IT tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms
