Imaging Endpoints (IE) is an Imaging Technology and Imaging Clinical Research Organization (iCRO). We are passionately focused on our vision to Connect Imaging to the CureTM. Imaging Endpoints is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts; London, UK; Leiden, Netherlands; Basel, Switzerland; Hyderabad, India and Shanghai, China. We are an affiliate of HonorHealth, one of the largest healthcare systems nationally, and Scottsdale Medical Imaging Limited (SMIL/RadPartners), the largest private radiology group in the United States. We are recognized as the world's largest and most preeminent iCRO in oncology.
The IT Solution / Enterprise Architect translates business needs, operational challenges, and strategic objectives into secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, IT teams, security, vendors, and leadership to develop technology roadmaps, solution designs, integration strategies, and implementation plans aligned with company policies, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation goals.
The architect provides leadership across infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, data, security, and integration domains by evaluating current-state technology, defining future-state architecture, guiding solution delivery, and ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solution Design and Implementation: Analyze business requirements, workflows, risks, and constraints to design secure, scalable, interoperable, and supportable technology solutions.
- IT Architecture Governance and Standards: Define, maintain, and enforce architecture standards, reference designs, documentation expectations, and technology governance controls.
- Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application Architecture: Support architecture across infrastructure, cloud platforms, PaaS, SaaS, virtual desktop technologies, enterprise applications, databases, integrations, and medical imaging-related systems.
- Security, Compliance, and Risk Management: Collaborate with IT security, compliance, and operations teams to address cybersecurity, data protection, availability, resiliency, and business continuity requirements.
- System Optimization and Problem Management: Assess systems, configurations, monitoring, workflows, and support processes to reduce complexity, eliminate redundancy, improve reliability, and optimize cost.
- Technical Leadership and Delivery Guidance: Guide engineering, infrastructure, application, security, and support teams throughout design, implementation, validation, release, and operational transition.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Ensure architecture diagrams, solution designs, installation guides, operational procedures, support models, risk assessments, and technical documentation remain complete, accurate, and current.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience:
Requires 18+ years of progressive information technology experience, including technology implementation, enterprise application delivery, infrastructure and cloud architecture, solution design, system integration, vendor coordination, and technology operations management.
- Leadership and Delivery Experience: Experience should include leading or supporting complex technology rollouts, modernization initiatives, security-conscious solution design, and cross-functional collaboration with business, IT, compliance, and vendor stakeholders.
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with equivalent enterprise architecture, solution architecture, cloud, infrastructure, or application delivery experience may also be considered.
- Certifications: Relevant professional certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Citrix, Cybersecurity, ITIL, or enterprise architecture frameworks are strongly preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Cloud Platforms & Services: Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, PaaS, SaaS, cloud architecture, migration, cost optimization, and secure cloud solutions.
- Infrastructure & Virtualization: Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, servers, storage, networking, virtualization, disaster recovery, high availability, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Enterprise Applications & Integrations: Experience with enterprise applications, modernization, system integrations, APIs, middleware, workflow automation, and application dependencies across infrastructure and security layers.
- Database & Data Management: Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, database architecture, data modeling, reporting, and data visualization concepts.
- Security & Compliance: Understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, data protection, risk assessment, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and secure solution design.
- Architecture Documentation: Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution designs, technical specifications, implementation plans, operational procedures, and support documentation.
- IT Service Management & Governance: Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, incident/problem management, service transition, architecture governance, technical standards, and operational controls (preferred).
- Financial & Vendor Management: Experience evaluating technology costs, licensing models, vendor solutions, TCO, budgeting, and cost optimization opportunities (preferred).
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with DICOM and imaging applications preferred.

- Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and structured architecture documents, technical specifications, procedures, decision records, and implementation plans.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Focus on process improvement, technology simplification, risk reduction, and service quality enhancement.
