About the role
EUME is a rapid-growing premium travel and lifestyle brand selling across nine channels (D2C, Amazon, quick commerce, modern trade, general trade, B2B, exports, airport retail, and offline distribution). We're looking for a hands-on Head of Finance & Accounts who can own the full accounting function end to end, lead a team, and still roll up their sleeves when the work demands it.
This is a role for someone who leads by doing, not just by delegating.
What you'll own
- Full-cycle accounting, from passing entries all the way to finalisation of accounts
- Managing and mentoring the finance & accounts team, while stepping in personally whenever needed to keep things moving without delays
- Accurate and timely TDS and GST filings, fully compliant with current rules and regulations
- Multi-state GST reconciliation across all our channels and locations
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close
- Working closely with the founder and leadership on reporting and financial hygiene
Non-negotiables
- Team player who can guide and grow a team, but is equally willing to get their own hands dirty to prevent delays
- Tally Prime master (advanced, not basic)
- Strong end-to-end accounting knowledge: entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and finalisation. Can run the process with a team, and can operate independently when required
- Solid, up-to-date command of TDS and GST filing as per the latest rules
- Hands-on experience with multi-state GST reconciliation
Great to have
- Working knowledge of Unicommerce, especially for inventory-related accounting and reconciliation
- Experience in a D2C, retail, or multi-channel consumer brand
