- Assist Latapult team in performing spatial analysis and creating mapping visuals.

- Support data management tasks, including data entry, validation, and maintenance of geospatial databases.

- Conduct and manage basic spatial analysis tasks such as buffering, overlay analysis, and map layer production.

- Manage custom GIS tools and scripts to automate workflows and improve efficiency.

- Prepare visualizations to communicate spatial analysis findings to the Latapult team.

- Collaborate with colleagues to understand geospatial product requirements and contribute to product deliverables.

- Stay updated on GIS trends and technologies through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Experience with GIS software (e.g. coursework, internships, or projects).

- Proficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS.

- Basic understanding of spatial analysis techniques and cartographic principles.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.





- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

- Experience with web-based GIS applications (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Leaflet).

- Familiarity with basic scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python) for geospatial analysis and automation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Knowledge of remote sensing techniques and image processing.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex GIS concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Experience with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data manipulation.
