Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Manager – Tech Management (MM Purchasing, WM(P2P)) will provide end-to-end functional and delivery leadership for warehouse and transportation management solutions across the SAP landscape. This role is responsible for owning solution delivery, integrations with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems, program execution, and team leadership across SAP MM/WM.

Core Skills and Competencies

- Solid understanding of end‑to‑end procure to pay processes.
- Proven experience with:
- S/4HANA integration
- MM/SD integration
- Functional leadership in testing, cutover, and go‑live execution.
- Experience with ALM / delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Solution Manager).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Methodologies & Ways of Working (Preferred)

- Knowledge and practical exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience working in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
- Familiarity with governance, design review boards, and quality assurance processes.

Leadership & Soft Skills

- Strong people management and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate at program and leadership levels with confidence.

REQUIREMENT

Education and Certifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Information Systems or related discipline.
- SAP MM/WM certifications preferred
- METHODOLOGIES (PREFERRED)
- SAP Activate
- Agile / SAFe / Hybrid delivery models

- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication

Required Experience

- 12+ years of SAP experience with strong depth in MM/WM
- 2–3+ years of hands-on implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Experience in large enterprise SAP programs and global delivery models

Essential skills

- Strong hands‑on experience across MM, WM, SD and Vistex
- 2–3+ years end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA migration experience
- Experience in large enterprise/global SAP programs
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder coordination skills.

Desired skills

- Experience in Project Management for large SAP programs, preferably SAP S/4HANA.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional & Domain Leadership

- Provide functional leadership for SAP MM/WM across implementation and support initiatives
- Act as the primary functional escalation and design authority
- Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap assessments
- Drive alignment across logistics, supply chain, and IT stakeholders

S/4HANA & Integration Ownership

- Lead integrations between MM/WM and SAP S/4HANA (SD, MM, FI)
- Oversee interfaces including IDocs, APIs, middleware, and third-party logistics systems
- Ensure end-to-end material management and purchasing

Delivery & Program Execution

- Manage functional delivery for SAP implementation and transformation programs
- Govern SIT, UAT, regression, and go-live readiness activities
- Support cutover planning and post go-live stabilization

People and Stakeholder Management

- Lead and mentor functional leads and consultants
- Partner with PMO, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Provide regular status, risk, and dependency reporting
