Job Description
Lend A Hand India is looking for an experienced Senior Manager (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) to lead the organization's MEL strategy and strengthen its evidence-based impact systems. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this leadership role offers the opportunity to shape how impact is measured across large-scale skill education programs while driving innovation, research, technology integration, and policy influence as LAHI expands its reach to one million students annually by 2028.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the organization's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning strategy while designing comprehensive M&E; frameworks for multi-state skill education programmes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of 15+ MEL professionals across Quality Monitoring, MIS, Evaluation and Outcomes.
- Programme Oversight: Ensure data quality, ethical data use, impact assessments, evaluations and research initiatives while driving technology-enabled monitoring solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present impact insights to founders, board members, donors and government agencies while representing LAHI at national and international forums.
- Innovation: Lead AI integration, develop scalable MEL systems and pioneer innovative methodologies for measuring employability, income growth and systemic change.
Requirements
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics,
Social Research or a related discipline.
- Experience: 10–12 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in MIS management, data analytics tools (R, Python, SPSS) and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse multi-location teams and translate strategic vision into operational excellence.
- Sector Knowledge: Solid understanding of skill education, vocational training, youth development and government systems.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership and external partners.
- Preferred: Experience in donor-funded programmes, evaluation design, research methodology, budget management and technology-enabled monitoring systems.
