- Manage end-to-end accounting operations for Indian and UK entities.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Generate sales orders, raise invoices, and manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports and financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with Indian and UK accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, VAT, and other applicable requirements.
- Handle foreign accounts, inter-company transactions, and multi-currency accounting.
- Manage accounting operations using Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during internal and external audits.
- Assist with HMRC-related accounting and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with UK stakeholders and internal departments to ensure timely financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (Master's degree or qualified qualification preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and UK accounting standards,
taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
- Experience in managing foreign accounts and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with UK-based stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in an IT, SaaS, or product-based organization.
- Knowledge of VAT, HMRC compliance, and international accounting practices.
- Experience in process improvement and financial controls.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
