Guidewire Technical Architect – PolicyCenter & BillingCenter

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter implementations within the P&C; Insurance domain. The role involves designing, configuring, and implementing scalable Guidewire solutions while following Guidewire Cloud standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter solutions for P&C; insurance clients.

- Lead greenfield Guidewire implementation projects from inception through deployment.

- Configure and customize PolicyCenter modules, including PCF, Gosu, Business Rules, Transactions/Jobs, Product Model, Wizards, Workflows, and Activities.

- Implement cloud-based integrations using Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud APIs, Webservices, Messaging, Plugins, and Batch Processes.

- Ensure solutions adhere to Guidewire Cloud standards and implementation best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

- Analyze complex business requirements and develop effective technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of overall IT/software development experience.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, implementation, and integration.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter configuration and implementation.





- 3+ years of experience with Guidewire Rating.

- Must be Guidewire ACE Certified in PolicyCenter for Cloud version(s).

- At least one greenfield Guidewire implementation project is mandatory.

- Solid knowledge of Guidewire Cloud standards and implementation methodologies.

- Expert-level knowledge of PolicyCenter configuration areas, including:

- PCF

- Gosu

- Business Rules

- Transactions/Jobs

- Product Model Configuration

- Wizards

- Workflows

- Activities

- Strong knowledge of cloud integration mechanisms, including:

- Integration Gateway

- App Events

- Cloud APIs

- Messaging

- Webservices

- Batch Processes

- Plugins

- Good understanding of Java and Java-based integrations.

- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong understanding of the P&C; Insurance domain and business processes.

- Experience working on multiple Guidewire implementations.

- Additional Guidewire certifications in BillingCenter, Rating, etc.

- Experience with modern integration patterns and microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of SQL and database design.

- Experience with business process modelling and workflow design.

- Strong mentoring and knowledge-sharing capabilities.

Additional Details

- Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days.

- Job Stability: Candidates with at least 2 years of tenure in an organization are preferred.

- Interview Process: 3 rounds.

- Work Location: Chennai / Bengaluru / Hyderabad – Hybrid; Remote for candidates based in other states.

- Candidates should be comfortable with general shift requirements and occasional on-call/weekend support, as applicable.

- Excellent communication skills are mandatory.

- Candidates should be available for a face-to-face interview if required.
