Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Project Execution

- Execute electrical systems installation and commissioning activities for thermal power projects.

- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.

- Review project drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents.

Electrical Engineering

- Manage design reviews and installation of:

- Generator & Generator Transformer (GT)

- Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT)

- Station Auxiliary Transformers (SAT)

- Switchyard equipment (220kV/400kV/765kV)

- GIS/AIS substations

- HT/LT switchgear

- Bus Ducts

- Power & Control Cables





- UPS, Battery Chargers & DC Systems

- Illumination Systems

- Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems

- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance with relevant standards and codes.

Supervise erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Coordinate with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting and defect rectification.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

Dip / BE, B.Tech in Electrical.
