Job SummaryThe Store Incharge will be responsible for the efficient management of the company's stores, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, components, consumables, finished goods, and packing materials. The role requires maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely material availability for production, and implementing proper inventory control practices.

- Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory is maintained.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory.
- Material ReceiptVerify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Inspect received materials for quantity and visible quality.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Quality departments regarding discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation for all inward materials.
- Material IssueIssue materials to production as per approved Material Requisition Notes (MRN).




- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Store OperationsOrganize and maintain the store in a clean, safe, and systematic manner.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials.
- Maintain separate storage areas for raw materials, finished goods, rejected items, and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Documentation & Record KeepingMaintain inward and outward registers.
- Update inventory records in ERP/software or Excel on a daily basis.
- Prepare stock reports and inventory statements for management.
- Maintain records of GRNs, Material Issue Slips, Gate Passes, and Stock Transfer Notes.
- CoordinationCoordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
- Inform the Purchase department about low stock and reorder requirements.
- Assist auditors during internal and external stock audits.
- Inventory ControlMinimize inventory losses and material wastage.
- Monitor stock ageing and expiry (where applicable).
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
